For relationship counselling, I use Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT).
I work with couples to look at what blocks the growth of their loving connection and collaboratively create new ways of engaging, using experiential steps. |
Couples Counselling
EFT is a short-term form of therapy that focuses on adult relationships and attachment/bonding. With EFT, we look at patterns in the relationship and take steps to create a more secure bond and develop more trust to move the relationship in a healthier, more positive direction.
Benefits of EFT Include:
- Feeling more intimate and connected to your partner
- Resolving conflict, releasing long-held tensions
- Developing healthier, more satisfying communication
- Improving emotional, physical, and sexual intimacy
- Resolving old problematic issues in your relationship.
Get Connected
I think I always believed that we are created for connection. So when I started hearing this phrase coming from the scientific community studying mental health and marital stability, I was in.
I have witnessed my fair share of inter-personal difficulty and relationship suffering, but deep down I always believed that we have much more capacity for creating secure connection and thriving relationship. |
When I learned about EFT, I felt like I discovered a theory that gave me a framework for what I believed.
EFT invites you to discover yourself - that you are indeed created for connection. EFT helps you experience how that connection becomes real to you.
Once you experience it, I know you will be in too.
